1st International Marine Lifestyle Fair
Estonian Fairs Ltd will organise from 12-15 March 2009 in the Estonian Fairs Centre the 1st international marine lifestyle fair “Sea Gate 2009”.
In Estonia, the sea can be touched by the hand and is a reality that can be perceived with each of the senses. Estonia is a maritime nation, which determines, to a significant extent, peoples way of life and thinking, giving breadth and scope to actions and dreams.
The sea is beside us and inside of us every day - even when we don’t notice it directly or don’t think about it.
Our invitation, inspired by secretiveness and boundlessness, is powerful and each year continues to take more people searching for sea romance out to sea. As a result of the opening of travel possibilities, sea vacations have changed the sea position of Estonia, making it obtainable for many people.
The sea offers unforgettable adventures to those who honour and love it, as well as an abundance of adrenaline, both above and below the surface, in both domestic waters as well as seas around the world. Marine navigation requires knowledge, skills and experience, trustworthy and reliable equipment, functioning infrastructure, communication, navigation and rescue equipment. All of this is to be offered to fair participants and visitors at the newly established sea worthy fair “Sea Gate 2009”.
A sea gate is both a real and symbolic boundary between the land and sea, through which one goes out to sea and returns from the sea. The fair “Sea Gate 2009” was created to spread the sea lifestyle, to bring visitors the best possible marine equipment, introduce marine tourism and possibilities for spending free time, to make marine travel safer and to value traditions.
Entry aboard is now open!
