Fair news
This year the fair has several new developments planned, offering exciting room and spatial solutions:
• Estonian House An approximately 100m² house will be built in the Fair Hall, including partial exterior walls, where everything inside, from top to bottom, would be a product of Estonia, beginning with the floorboards and ending with the lighting. This is surely an exciting piece of news, since nothing like this has been done before. The interior architect for the project is Ivi-Els Schneider, who is a very strong and highly regarded expert in her field.
• Functioning kitchen block Interior designer Inge Peetris has designed a functioning kitchen with 4 different functions, sizes and options – the focus is on everything kitchen related – beginning with kitchen furniture and kitchen equipment and ending with localised lighting and a garbage disposal. In the sample kitchen, pancakes are cooked, oranges are peeled and offered, juices and coffee are prepared and served and many other exciting things are done – everything in the way that a truly functional kitchen allows.
• Children’s and youth rooms. The design ideas of various designer’s as total solutions find an output in such themed rooms as: * eco children’s room - (Loreida Hein) * allergy free children’s room (Anne Saarniit) * ergonomic youth room (Inge Peetris) * white children’s room (Aet Piel) * colourful children’s room (Ulvi Lõhmus) * baby’s room (Kard Männil) * storage areas in the children’s room ( Eleka Pajusaar) * Vintage – ( Eve-Lii Sandre) Several companies may be represented in one room, the products of which are used by designers in the resolution of the assigned task. Interior architects perform a review on paper of their selections, references are placed and architects present the given topic on stage.
• Architect’s area – enclosed area, where only interior architects are granted access with an invitation and where companies can display their materials and where short seminars on their products can be held in an enclosed atmosphere.
• If requested, Kanal 2 KODUSAADE will also prepare an advertising clip of all of this, which will be shown on their show and which can be later viewed at any time on their homepage by whomever is interested (Monika Süvari 551 3331).
